How to Check FMGE Result 2026 and Download Your Scorecard
Step 1. Go to natboard.edu.in and look for the "FMGE June 2026 Scorecard" link on the homepage, or under the Examinations or Candidate Login section.
Step 2. Log in using your Application Number and Date of Birth exactly as entered in the application form.
Step 3. Your individual scorecard will show your total score out of 300, the number of correct responses, and your qualifying status: Pass, Fail, or Withheld.
Step 4. Download the PDF immediately and save it to your device and to cloud storage. Do not rely on being able to access it later. Scorecards expire on January 16, 2027 and are permanently removed after that date.

Five months of preparation from August to December, with specific emphasis on clinical subjects and the locked-section format, is more than sufficient to cross 150. The candidates who clear December sessions consistently are those who identified their weak subjects from their June scorecard and corrected them specifically.

The All FMGs Association formally noted that the sharp decline in June 2026 was driven by a significant shift in structural difficulty, specifically more clinical, concept-based questions and fewer direct-recall one-liners. This is consistent with the direction NBEMS has stated since 2024 toward clinical integration. Questions increasingly test clinical reasoning through patient scenarios rather than isolated facts. Candidates who prepared primarily by reading notes, rather than practising previous year questions in clinical context, were poorly positioned for this shift. NBEMS separately publishes an annual report breaking the same exam down by country of study and by individual university — how many candidates each one sent, how many passed, and the resulting rate. It is a different document from the session result notification, and it is published once a year rather than after each sitting, so the two sets of numbers are not directly comparable.

From August 2026 to 31 October 2026 is about two months — far less runway than the five months the December sitting used to offer. Candidates who failed June 2026 do have a concrete advantage: they know their weak subjects from the scorecard and have covered the full syllabus once. Two months of targeted revision on known weak areas is workable; two months of starting over is not. If it is the latter, the sitting after October is the more honest target, and NBEMS has not yet notified its date.
