FMGE Mock Test & Full-Length Test Series

By Dr. Utsav Bhattacherjee, MBBS, MBA · Last updated:

A full-length FMGE mock test follows the shape of the real paper: 300 multiple-choice questions worth one mark each, split into two parts of 150 questions, with two hours and thirty minutes for each part, and no negative marking. That shape matters more than the questions. The pass mark is a fixed 150 out of 300, exactly 50%, so a mock built to a different length or a different marking scheme produces a score that cannot be read against the real cutoff. Sitting the whole paper in one go also tests the thing a question bank cannot: whether your accuracy holds across five hours rather than across twenty questions. Our mocks are scheduled against the actual NBEMS sittings, so each one is practice for the paper you are taking rather than an exercise timed to nothing in particular.

Full 300-question papers on the real FMGE pattern, scheduled against the actual NBEMS sittings — so every mock you sit is practice for the paper you are taking, not a quiz that happens to be about medicine.

Built on the real FMGE paper

The pattern below is the exam’s, not ours — it is the same constant the FMGE exam page renders, so the two can never describe the paper differently. Our full-length mocks match it exactly.

2027 sessions

NBEMS has confirmed FMGE will be held three times a year. Dates for 2027 have not been notified yet, including the date for the sitting that was previously listed for January 2027.

Checked against NBEMS notices on 26 September 2026. Only October 2026 carries a date NBEMS has published. Always confirm on natboard.edu.in rather than relying on any third-party page, including ours.

Why full-length

What a full-length paper gives you that a question bank can't.

Chapter-wise practice tells you whether you know a topic. A whole paper tells you whether you can hold it together for five hours, which is the thing FMGE actually tests.
View plans

A score you can actually compare

Same 300 questions, same two parts, same absence of negative marking. A mock built on a different shape gives you a number that means nothing against the real cutoff of 150.

Five hours is a stamina problem

Most candidates lose marks in the back half of Part B, not because they do not know the answer but because they have been reading MCQs for four hours. The only way to train for that is to sit the whole paper.

Subject-wise breakdown after every paper

A total tells you where you stand. The breakdown tells you what to do on Monday — which subject cost you the most marks, and whether it was recall or application.

Sit it again, honestly

Every paper stays available after its date, so you can retake one under timed conditions closer to the exam and see whether the gap you found actually closed.
Testimonials

Doctors who cleared FMGE with Reflex

Graduates from Russia, China, and Ukraine on the specific thing that changed.

  • I had failed FMGE twice before I found Reflex. Not because I did not know medicine, I did. The subject-wise accuracy breakdown showed me I was losing 11 marks in Pharmacology alone. Three months of fixing that specific gap and I cleared on my third attempt.

Dr. Priya SharmaMBBS, Bashkir State Medical University, Russia
  • I graduated from a university in Georgia and the FMGE pattern felt completely different from what I studied. Reflex's PYQ bank showed me exactly how the exam frames questions. Cleared it on my first attempt.

    Dr. Ananya SharmaMBBS, Georgia
  • Studied MBBS in China, came back unsure how to prep for FMGE. The 6,000+ questions meant I never ran out of practice. Passed comfortably.

    Dr. Karan MehtaMBBS, China
  • I came from a Russia MBBS background and the Indian exam pattern was my weak point. Reflex bridged that gap. The daily practice habit it built is what got me through.

FMGE mock tests: frequently asked questions

Our full-length mocks follow the real FMGE paper: 300 multiple-choice questions worth 1 mark each, split into two parts of 150, with 2 hours 30 minutes per part. There is no negative marking, so a wrong answer costs nothing more than an unattempted one.

The pass mark is 150 out of 300, exactly 50%. It is a fixed absolute cutoff — there is no percentile, no rank-based selection and no category relaxation. Every candidate needs 150 or more.

No, because there is none in FMGE itself. A correct answer is +1 and a wrong or unattempted answer is 0. Our mocks mark the same way, so the score you see is directly comparable to the real thing and there is never a reason to leave a question blank.

NBEMS has confirmed 31 October 2026, in its notice dated 28 August 2026. FMGE is now held three times a year rather than twice. Dates beyond October 2026 have not been notified yet — the calendar on this page marks which sittings are confirmed and which are only expected.

The full-length papers run to a published calendar so you can plan revision around them rather than sitting them at random. The calendar on this page shows every month from September 2026 to September 2027 alongside the FMGE sittings, so you can see how each test lines up against the exam you are actually taking.

The Reflex app includes free practice alongside the paid plans. Pricing for the full test series is on the plans page, and the app is free to download and try first.
